Stadler is present in Hungary via 3 subsidiaries. Stadler Trains Hungary Ltd is responsible for sales, is based in Budapest. This subsidiary is also responsible for the Pusztaszabolcs administrative base, and provides maintenance for the Hungarian State Railways (Magyar Államvasutak) and the fleet of FLIRT trains.

Main goals of the client

Stadler’s question; Using protective coating for long term protection could offer a competitive advantage. If the results are good the Resysten solutions may be utilized as part of the manufacturing process, thus the fortified health protection of the passengers is guaranteed by the time the product is placed on the market In order to minimize the risk of infectious diseases and epidemics typical to the winter/spring seasons spreading between passengers, the surface treatment protective provided by RESYSTEN Hungary.

The project:

Protective coating of 1 Stadler FLIRT electric trains – the entire interior surfaces:

  • Passenger seats (seat, back-rest, handle)
  • Entire interior surface of doors
  • Available interior surfaces of side windows, entire interior surface of side windows
  • Entire interior surface of rear window and windscreen
  • Entire surface of cab;
  • All handles
  • All handrails

3 month examination period, measurments once a month on 10 points of measurement
